Yes. We wash and rinse several times after the dyeing process to rinse out the excess dye.
Sometimes, though, there might be some slight colour bleeding - especially with darker colours. We recommend a gentle rinse in cool water before stitching is begun. We are very careful to use only the highest quality products in our processes. We start out with only Zweigart fabrics, so you know it is of premium quality.
My piece looks different from the scan, why?
Each piece is created individually therefore the patterns will always be random and unique. Also different fabric types (linen, cotton, or a blend) and weaves (14ct, 25ct, 28ct or 32ct for example) may take up the dyes slightly differently. We always offer 100% satisfaction guarantee if the colour is not what you expected.
